- Take
US 24 (W. Cimarron) West toward Pikes Peak
(approximately 42 miles from downtown Colorado
Springs…about 1 hour travel time)
- Go
through Woodland Park
- Continue
through Divide
- Continue
through Florissant
- Continue
through Lake George
- After
passing the Lake George school (on left) note
your mileage
- The
road to the ranch is 5 miles past the school on
the right
- There
is a sign for Mule Creek Outfitters and the
M Lazy C Ranch
- Take
a right onto our road
- The
road is dirt, but easily traveled by large
RV’s and horse trailers
- The
ranch is ¾ of a mile North on this dirt
road
- Please
be careful for wildlife on your trip. Deer
and Elk are common, especially during dusk and
dawn.
From June 26-28th, Brian and Eric's teams, along with an Eagle
team of four, will experience a weekend on a real
working ranch - THE
M LAZY C RANCH in Lake George and sponsored in
part by the Red
Creek Land Company in Pueblo
Here's a taste of the action:
-rifle and pistol shootin' at the range
-ridin'
-steer dogging
-cattle work
-whiskey, poker and camping
-roping
-wagon race
-barrel race
...some of these are serious, some are funny,
some will take you right up to the edge!
We'll determine
the winner when the three teams take on the 'Cowboy
U' Challenge on Sunday, June 28th.
Horseback and hayrides for the family and a free
chuckm wagon lunch where we'll award the winners of
the 'Rock and Roll Cowboy Challenge.' Winning team
will participate in the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo.
It's a weekend with the guys that'll be both one of
the most challenging and most exciting things you've
ever done.
